Backwards in Renaissance Summer Certificate Program
``From the Idea to the Product``
Are you born to be an artist…or an entrepreneur?
The dichotomy of Art and Business is an old prejudice proved to be wrong by history, heuristics and studies on management and entrepreneurship. The importance of a creative mindset and of powerful imagination in pursuing success is equally indisputable in Arts as well as in Business and the contamination of Art and Science has proved to be successful in many industrial fields over the centuries, reaching its peak in the Renaissance, that in-fact has always been a model for innovation “even better than Silicon Valley today”, in the opinion of researchers such as Eric Weiner. This Program will be held in the District of Marble, which has been renowned sincethe age of the Renaissance to be a unique creative hub of cultural, industrial and business innovation, with a final traineeship program of 2 weeks in a real Bottega d’Arte, where in direct contact with designers, artists and artisans of international reputation, students will experience the daily life of the Renaissance Artist.
